On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy is attacking by forcing river crossings. Assaults are taking place west of Siversk, where the enemy constantly sends small infantry groups.

This was stated on Army TV by Volodymyr Holiahin, Head of the Communications Section of the 81st Separate Slobozhanska Airborne Brigade.

According to him, the situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility is difficult. In Dronivka, the enemy is advancing “in countless numbers” in small groups, forcing crossings of the Bakhmutivka River. Platonivka has been completely cleared, but it continues to be attacked, with the enemy repeatedly crossing the Siverskyi Donets River to conduct assaults — more than five such attempts have already occurred. Other sectors are also under assault.

“When we talk about Zakitne, the enemy recently reported on its own resources that it had taken Zakitne. There was infiltration from the Siversk direction. Several groups — I believe six people — penetrated the outskirts of the settlement. And one of them, if you saw that footage, is standing without body armor, without a helmet, and waving a Russian rag. After that, all necessary measures were taken to clear the village”, — the brigade’s communications chief said.
