Between January 17 and 19, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck railway power supply facilities in temporarily occupied territories, destroyed an S-300V SAM launcher, a North Korean multiple launch rocket system, and eliminated two UAV depots.

This was reported by the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Robert Brovdi.

The following targets were hit:

  • S-300V SAM system — self-propelled launcher-loader 9A84 (Luhansk Oblast, temporarily occupied territory);

  • North Korean MLRS M-1991, 240 mm — a multiple launch rocket system from the DPRK, an analogue of the Uragan MLRS;

  • Traction power substation “Sartana” (Mariupol, TOT) — a substation supplying electric locomotives and electric trains on the Mariupol–Sartana–Volnovakha–Donetsk line, power transformer 2500 kVA;

  • Traction power substation “Karan” (Andriivka, Donetsk Oblast, TOT) — supplies the electrified railway network on the Mariupol–Volnovakha–Komysh-Zoria section, two power transformers with a capacity of 2500–4000 kVA;

  • Azovska Substation, 220 kV (Staryi Krym, Donetsk Oblast, TOT) — a critical element of the region’s industrial power supply;

  • UAV depot of the 144th Division of the 51st Army (Novokrasnianka, TOT);

  • UAV depot (Donetsk, TOT).

“Courtesy visits were carried out using middle-strike assets by the Birds of the 1st Separate Detachment of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Kairos Battalion of the 414th Brigade ‘Birds of Madyar’, and the 412th Nemesis Brigade, coordinated by the newly established Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces Group”, — the commander reported.
