Fighters of the 3rd Spartan Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine replenished the “exchange fund” on the Pokrovsk axis.

The conversation with the captives was published on the brigade’s channel on January 20.

Yura from Novosibirsk Oblast spent 20 of his 58 years behind bars. This time, he beat his wife’s lover and was given a choice: 15 years in prison or war in Ukraine. He now realizes it was a one-way ticket and does not want to be exchanged.

Andrii, 48, from Kemerovo Oblast, signed a contract for money. He says he expected to see “Nazis” in Ukraine and “Russian-speaking population” that needed to be “liberated”.

Andrii, 27, also from Kemerovo Oblast, says he signed a contract so that the Russian Ministry of Defense would help treat his son — but he was “cheated”. He went AWOL four times, and the last time, to prevent escape, he was brought to Ukraine in handcuffs.
