The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck enemy air defense assets in temporarily occupied Crimea. Ukrainian forces destroyed a Nebo-U radar station near Yevpatoria and a Pantsir-S1 missile-gun system.

This was stated on air during the “United News” telethon by Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy.

According to him, Russians always try to replace destroyed surveillance systems as quickly as possible, understanding that their destruction means one thing — attacks on what they were protecting.

“We have already observed this repeatedly. After such information, another follows — about targets that were subsequently hit. We won’t speculate yet, but in any case, reducing the enemy’s ability to detect means of attack from our side is always a plus”, — the Navy spokesperson said.
