On the night of January 19 (from 18:00 on January 18), the enemy attacked with 145 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera drones, and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda (Autonomous Republic of Crimea), and Donetsk (temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine). About 90 of them were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 19.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 126 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera drones, and other types.
Impacts of 13 strike UAVs were recorded at 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAV debris at five locations.
