Pilots of the “Sky Monsters” unit of the strike unmanned aerial systems company of the 33rd Mechanized Brigade used a ground robotic complex to rescue a strike UAV.
The video of the operation was published on the unit’s channel.
“Recently, the unit lost communication with one of its aircraft on the brigade’s frontline defense line. A decision was made to send another robot for evacuation. Overcoming puddles and potholes, the UGV successfully reached the required point, having first delivered useful cargo to other positions.
In addition to the UGV itself, it was also possible to evacuate the ‘Vampire’ UAV, which had previously made an emergency landing.
As a result, both the UGV and the Vampire were delivered to the workshop, repaired, and are already performing their tasks again”, — the unit commented.
