On the night of January 18 (from 18:30 on January 17), the enemy attacked with 201 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera,” and other types of drones from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda (Autonomous Republic of Crimea), and Donetsk — temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. About 120 of them were Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down or suppressed 167 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and other types of drones.
Thirty strike UAV impacts were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (debris) at two locations.
“The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in Ukrainian airspace. Follow safety rules! Let’s hold the sky! Together — to victory!” — the Air Force said.
