President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia is not genuinely interested in ending the war and is obstructing the process.

This was stated in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the delay in ending the war is coming from Russia. The President cited as an example the agreements reached at the end of last year regarding the exchange of Ukrainian prisoners of war.

“One thousand people to exchange. What is the problem? What is the delay on the Ukrainian side? Who is holding Ukrainians in captivity? Us? Russia. Why are they not exchanging them? Does the United States have an answer to this question? No. Because there are certain questions that are uncomfortable, yet absolutely fair”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State added that Russia is delaying all processes, starting with the humanitarian track.

“Let’s exchange one thousand people — postponed. Let’s exchange at least 500 — postponed. Let’s exchange all for all — this is part of the 20 points — postponed. So who is postponing it? Who does not want to end the war? The issue is not about desire, but about pressure. Sufficient pressure on Russia is needed — and everything will end. I believe we are very close to this”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
