A symbol of military honor: Maroon berets presented in the Air Assault Forces

Paratroopers of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanskyi Brigade and the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavriiskyi Brigade were ceremonially presented with maroon berets — a symbol of military honor of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Assault Forces.

Each servicemember proved their right to wear this beret through perseverance, physical and moral resilience, loyalty to the oath, and combat brotherhood. It is the result of a difficult path that only those ready to take on the most challenging missions are able to complete.

“The maroon beret is responsibility, trust, and a sign that you are a paratrooper. Ukrainian paratroopers are devoted to Ukraine and its people, to the military profession, and to the joint struggle against the enemy”, — the statement reads.
