Between 07:00 and 17:00 on January 14, 2026, the enemy intensified air attacks in the direction of Kyiv, using jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
All necessary means, including aviation, were engaged to destroy and counter the enemy jet-powered drones.
As of 17:00, ten out of ten enemy jet-powered UAVs were shot down over Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
“After studying the wreckage, specialists will likely determine the UAV type and its payload. However, the attack continues; to the south of the capital of Ukraine, the usual Shahed drones or UAVs of other types are being detected”, — the statement said.
