Combat operations continue on the territory of Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, leading to the deaths and disappearances of Russian servicemen.
This is evidenced by a new radio interception released by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In the conversation intercepted by Ukrainian intelligence, a resident of Belgorod region discusses losses of occupation army units already directly on Russian territory. In particular, he talks about an acquaintance with the call sign “Punt” who has not been in contact for more than two weeks.
“Our ‘Punt’ is also missing in action — hasn’t been in contact since the 27th”, — the interlocutor says.
In the same conversation, the Russian confirms the intensity of hostilities in the region and mentions a killed acquaintance near Belgorod.
“So you say it’s exploding every day there? And where did Sasha die — not far from Belgorod?” — he clarified.
DIU notes that despite Kremlin statements about allegedly creating a “reliable security zone”, Russia’s border regions remain dangerous for Russian servicemen.
Ukrainian intelligence emphasized: for every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people, there will be just retribution.
