On the night of January 12 (from 18:00 on January 11), the enemy attacked with 156 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and drones of other types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy attacked from the following directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). About 110 of them were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense systems shot down or suppressed 135 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
Hits by 16 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at two locations.
