An intercepted conversation obtained by Ukrainian intelligence documents evidence of preparations for another war crime by the Russian occupation army in Ukraine.
The conversation was published on January 9 by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In the intercepted exchange between servicemen of the 2nd Battalion of the 237th Regiment of Russia’s 76th Air Assault Division operating near Pokrovsk, one of the commanders can be heard ordering the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war.
“We don’t take anyone prisoner — f*** them all, don’t ask anyone’s name, f***ing kill them all”, — he orders.
Systematic executions and torture of prisoners of war, murders of civilians, and extrajudicial executions of their own servicemen once again prove that war crimes are a deliberate and targeted policy of the aggressor state, Russia.
The HUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds: there will be just retribution for every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people.
