Enemy ‘Oreshnik’ strike on Ukraine: Latvia initiates an extraordinary UN Security Council meeting
Latvia is initiating the convening of an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council due to a Russian strike on Ukraine using a medium-range ballistic missile near the borders of the EU and NATO.
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže wrote about this on the social network X.
“Latvia will request the convening of an extraordinary UN Security Council meeting in response to Russia’s barbaric attack against Ukraine, including the use of a medium-range ballistic missile near the EU and NATO border”, — the Latvian Foreign Minister wrote.
