Operators of the 3rd “Svoboda” Battalion of the 4th Operational Assignment Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Sergeant Serhii Mykhalchuk “Rubizh” demonstrated how Russians struck their own soldiers who were attempting to surrender.

The video was published on January 8 on the battalion’s channel.

Our FPV drone detected a dugout where four occupiers were hiding. After shelling the position, the Russians realized there was no way out and decided to save their lives — they began exiting while following commands from our fighters, which they heard through a loudspeaker mounted on the drone.

During their movement, an enemy FPV drone struck its own personnel, attempting to kill those who had chosen captivity over death. Despite this, two of the four occupiers were taken alive.
