Enemy attempts to accumulate resources in the Serebrianskyi Forest
The situation around Dronivka remains tense. Since the beginning of the year, Russian forces have intensified efforts to accumulate resources in the Serebrianskyi Forest. In this way, the enemy is attempting to improve the supply of its forward positions, which they plan to use small groups to bypass Dronivka.
This was reported on January 7 by the 81st Slobozhanskyi Airmobile Brigade.
“The enemy’s ultimate objective is to establish full control over the settlement of Dronivka and advance toward Platonivka and Zakitne.
In the event of the occupation of these settlements, and given the complex terrain of the area, the enemy would be able to set up logistics supply routes unhindered along the Siverskyi Donets River. This, in turn, would pose a threat of further advancement toward Lyman and Sloviansk.
In order to deprive the enemy’s forward positions of supplies, drone operators of the ‘Apaches’ Unmanned Systems Battalion are deliberately destroying concentrations of enemy vehicles and manpower in the Serebrianskyi Forest,” the brigade said.
Over the past day alone, Apaches forces destroyed/eliminated:
- personnel — 2;
- buggies — 2;
- quad bike — 1;
- motorcycles — 4;
- shelters — 5.
