Oleh Ivashchenko will continue to serve our State in the position of Ukraine’s Military Intelligence — President
Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleh Ivashchenko, who will now move to a new position.
The President wrote about this on his channel on the evening of January 2.
“First of all, as Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleh Ivashchenko reported on the overall situation around our state and current threats.
We continue to focus on reducing Russia’s economic potential: the less the aggressor earns, the more opportunities there will be for diplomacy.
This primarily concerns Russian oil exports, which will be restricted and become cheaper.
We are acting similarly regarding Russian military production: the more we cut off the aggressor’s connections with the world and sanction-evasion schemes, the greater the potential of efforts to end the war. I am grateful to the Foreign Intelligence Service for its work in this area and the relevant information.
As of today, Oleh Ivashchenko will continue to serve our state and carry out tasks to limit Russia’s military potential in the position of Ukraine’s military intelligence”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
