Over 100 Russian UAVs attacked Ukraine, about 70 of them were Shaheds
On the night of January 2, the enemy launched an attack using 116 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and drones of other types — about 70 of them were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:30 a.m., air defense shot down and suppressed 86 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits by 27 strike UAVs were recorded at 23 locations, as well as the fall of debris at two locations.
