On the Lyman axis, Russian troops continue “meat-grinder” assaults despite enormous losses in both manpower and weapons.
This was stated during an Army TV stream by the Acting Commander of the Command Post of the 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade “K-2”, callsign “Ram”.
“The enemy still does not abandon attempts to seize our territory. Their ‘meat’ assaults are ongoing all the time. They suffer huge losses in personnel here, as well as in their weapons. There were even mechanized assaults here, which we also successfully repelled together with our adjacent units. We cooperate well”, — he said.
However, according to him, due to bad weather the occupiers still attempt to infiltrate and move into the rear.
“They try to get into our rear areas, although they fail completely. They continue to suffer heavy losses here and keep sending their fighters to the slaughter, so to speak”, — “Ram” noted.
He highlighted cooperation with adjacent units, particularly the evacuation of the wounded using ground robotic systems.
“They often ask for help, and we try not to refuse anyone. Up to 85% of missions are successful. There are moments when the enemy still neutralizes our evacuation, but we do not refuse any assistance. These are our people, and that is why we are standing here”, — “Ram” emphasized.
