Drones of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a massive strike on facilities used for storage, outfitting, and launch preparation of Geran/Shahed drones at Donetsk Airport (Donetsk, temporarily occupied territory) on the night of December 30.

This was reported by the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.

The operation was developed by the intelligence directorate of the 414th Separate Brigade “Madyar’s Birds” of the Unmanned Systems Forces together with the newly created Deep Strike Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces grouping.

The “courtesy visit” targeted:

  • the Geran/Shahed logistics hub;

  • pre-flight preparation and maintenance points for Geran/Shahed and Gerbera UAVs;

  • the central warhead storage for Geran/Shahed UAVs;

  • an accumulation warehouse for Gerbera UAVs;

  • a concentration point for enemy personnel and technical staff responsible for preparation and pre-launch technical servicing of Geran/Shahed and Gerbera UAVs.
