On the night of December 29 (from 21:00 on December 28), the enemy attacked using 25 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The attack was launched from the following directions: Oryol and Millerovo (Russia), Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea), and Donetsk (temporarily occupied territory). About 15 of the launched drones were Shaheds.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 21 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south, and east of the country.
Four strike UAV hits were recorded at two locations.
