On the night of December 28, the enemy attacked with 48 attack UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The attack was carried out from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), Hvardiiske and Chauda (temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea). About 30 of the launched drones were Shaheds.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down or suppressed 30 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types and other drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

Eighteen UAVs hit nine locations.
