The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasingly using their own artillery units to support combat operations without involving adjacent forces.

A video report of combat operations was released by the 4th Special Operations Forces Regiment.

Artillery as a tool of tempo

The regiment emphasizes that having its own artillery is, above all, about speed of decision-making and immediate execution. Without lengthy coordination and loss of time, SOF units receive fire support exactly when it is critically needed on the battlefield.

“Bohdana” and D-20 in SOF operations

The video shows the operation of the Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system “Bohdana” and D-20 guns. Artillerymen of the 4th Regiment strike enemy infantry and shelters, ensuring the advance and maneuver of Special Operations Forces.

The 4th SOF Regiment also reminds about open recruitment to artillery units and calls on candidates to join the ranks of the regiment’s “Ranger” artillerymen.
