Today, December 25, units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful strike using air-launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles against the Novoshakhtinsk petroleum products plant in Rostov region, Russia.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Multiple explosions were recorded. The target was hit. The scale of damage is being clarified.
The Novoshakhtinsk plant is one of the largest suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia and is directly involved in supporting the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
In particular, the facility supplies diesel fuel and aviation kerosene to the occupying army.
The total capacity of the plant’s storage tanks exceeds 210,000 cubic meters.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to take necessary measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and to compel the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
