On the Kramatorsk axis, in the area of responsibility of the 56th Brigade, the enemy continues to use the so-called “creeping offensive” tactic. The advance is carried out mainly by infantry, supported by fiber-optic FPV drones. The enemy launches several hundred such drones per day in this sector.
This was reported on Army TV by Olha Kosenko, spokesperson for the 56th Mariupol Motorized Infantry Brigade.
According to her, Russians attempt to infiltrate in small groups of two to four, and sometimes even alone, in the areas of the settlements of Novomarkove and Maiske. Increasingly, the enemy is abandoning the use of wheeled vehicles, as it has suffered too many losses.
“Because it has repeatedly suffered defeats from our engineers and run into minefields, it is now mostly trying to advance on foot. Weather conditions also facilitate these enemy actions, as Donetsk region currently experiences drizzle and dense fog almost daily. Despite this, our aerial reconnaissance units detect these small groups and neutralize them quite successfully”, — said the spokesperson of the 56th Mariupol Motorized Infantry Brigade.
The enemy is attempting to develop the production of naval drones and copy successful Ukrainian practices — both technical solutions and tactics.
