The Army ID functionality has been expanded in the updated Army+ application.

This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

What is Army ID?

It now includes not only a unique ID number for submitting reports, but also a digital service ID card for a defender, which can be used to confirm military service.

The ID displays a photo and basic data available for viewing via a QR code.

How does the digital ID work?

The digital ID in Army ID displays a photo and basic information. If necessary, servicemen and servicewomen can generate a QR code for verification.

This code:

  • is valid for 3 minutes from the moment of generation;

  • does not permanently store personal data;

  • allows access to information only at the moment of verification.

After the code expires, a new one can be generated.

Does Army ID replace paper documents?

No. Army ID does not replace paper military registration documents.

It is a convenient digital solution for everyday use, particularly for confirming the status of a serviceman or servicewoman during checks by representatives of Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TCR and SP) or the Military Law Enforcement Service, including at checkpoints.

Who and how can verify the data?

By scanning the QR code, representatives of TCR and SP or the Military Law Enforcement Service gain access to basic information necessary to confirm the status of a serviceman or servicewoman.

The data are not stored permanently and are retrieved only during verification.

Is Internet access required?

Army ID can be displayed in the application even without internet access.

However, an internet connection is required to generate and verify the QR code.

This ensures that only up-to-date information is displayed during verification.

What else has changed in Army+ 3.0.0?

In addition to the expanded Army ID, the updated version of Army+ includes:

  • the “Pulse” information feed with official explanations and useful information for military personnel;

  • a notifications section that stores the history of important messages and report statuses;

  • an updated design and navigation for faster access to services.

Update Army+ to version 3.0.0 to use the new features daily. Find the new version in Google Play and the App Store, or on the application page: https://aplus.mod.gov.ua/.
