Situation in Serebrianka is extremely difficult: Air Assault Troops hold positions, enemy suffers losses
The situation in the settlement of Serebrianka, northeast of Siversk, is extremely difficult. Units of the 81st Brigade are holding their positions, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.
This was reported by the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians also continue attempts to transport personnel across the Siverskyi Donets River from the direction of the Serebrianske forestry. Over the past two days alone, UAV units of the 81st Brigade destroyed two boats along with enemy personnel.
The brigade explains that the enemy’s key objective is full control over the settlements of Serebrianka and Dronivka. These two villages would serve as bridgeheads for the accumulation of manpower and equipment, and if captured — for further advance and seizure of heights near the settlements of Zakitne and Platonivka.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day on the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled five assaults by occupation forces near Yampil and Siversk.
