EU approves €90 billion in financial support for Ukraine in 2026–2027 — Volodymyr Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the leaders of the European Union for the European Council’s decision to provide Ukraine with financial support totaling €90 billion for 2026–2027.
He reported this in a post on his page.
According to the Head of State, the adopted decision significantly strengthens Ukraine’s resilience and ensures financial security for the coming years. The President also emphasized the importance of Russian assets remaining immobilized.
“This is substantial support that truly strengthens our resilience. It is important that Russian assets remain immobilized and that Ukraine has received a financial security guarantee for the coming years”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
The President thanked European partners for their unity and emphasized that joint decisions by Ukraine and the EU are aimed at protecting the future of the entire European continent.
