During the execution of a combat mission, a Mi-24 helicopter crew was killed.
The aircraft belonged to the 12th Separate Army Aviation Brigade named after General-Khorunzhyi Viktor Pavlenko.
Information about the tragic incident was published on the brigade’s page on the evening of December 18.
“Today, a black cloud has hung over our aviation family. While carrying out a combat mission, the crew of a Mi-24 helicopter was killed.
This is an irreparable loss for aviation, for the country, and for the families who were waiting for their loved ones at home.
We appeal to everyone who cares to join in supporting the families of the fallen.
A fundraising campaign has been opened to assist four families.
All collected funds will be transferred to the families after the fundraising is completed.
