The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is directing funding to combat brigades to procure what best meets their real needs.
This was reported on December 15 by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“In the first quarter of 2026, the military will receive UAH 12 billion to order equipment through DOT-Chain Defence.
As of now, 186 combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as brigades of the ‘Azov’ and ‘Khartiia’ corps, have access to the system.
Through the marketplace, the frontline has already received UAVs and electronic warfare systems worth UAH 7.687 billion — 175,400 units of equipment.
More than 100 manufacturers are already connected to the system. To select and receive the required equipment, a servicemember needs only a few clicks.
We continue to expand the list of manufacturers and available marketplace items. Our goal is for every brigade to be able to independently choose and quickly receive everything needed to accomplish its missions”, — Denys Shmyhal noted.
