Russians Intensified Offensive, but Their Losses Are Growing: Over 8,000 Killed and Wounded in a Week

Last week, attempts by Russian forces to intensify offensives were recorded, but this only led to greater losses for them.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On Sunday, March 23, he held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov.

“The only tangible result for the Russian army has been an increase in losses — more than 8,000 killed and seriously wounded in just seven days”, — Zelenskyy said.

According to him, Russian command has finally begun to understand the real situation at the front compared to false reports.

“Some brigade-level commanders have already been replaced as punishment for lies. However, this will not help the occupier”, — he emphasized.
