On the night of December 14, the enemy attacked using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 138 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The occupiers launched the missile from Rostov Oblast. The enemy launched drones from the following directions: Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo — Russian Federation; Hvardiiske — temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. About 85 of them were Shaheds.
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense shot down/suppressed 110 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south, and east of the country.
Missile impact and strikes by 10 strike UAVs were recorded at six locations.
The enemy is attempting to develop the production of naval drones and copy successful Ukrainian practices — both technical solutions and tactics.
