President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on several briefings by Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov regarding the active work of Ukrainian negotiating teams on international platforms.

This was stated in a message published on the President’s social media accounts.

According to him, groups are being prepared to work in Germany, focusing on the details of future security guarantees for Ukraine. The Ukrainian delegation is headed by Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov. Representatives of the Armed Forces, intelligence, and the security sector are involved in the work.

At the same time, a group dealing with issues of the economy, reconstruction, and investment has begun work in the United States. From the Ukrainian side, this track is overseen by First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka, and Minister Oleksandr Sobolev, with experts also involved.

The third track is ongoing communication among national security advisers. Consultations between Ukraine, the United States, European partners, and other states of the Coalition of the Willing take place daily. The Ukrainian side in these contacts is coordinated by Rustem Umerov.

The President emphasized that the goal of all negotiating formats is to bring about a real end to the war and to shape the conditions for a dignified peace, guaranteed security, and effective reconstruction of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked everyone involved in this process and separately expressed gratitude to the military and to those working to strengthen Ukraine’s defense.

“Strong positions for Ukraine in defense mean strong positions in diplomacy”, — the Head of State concluded.
