Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal praised the combat work of the Land Forces soldiers, who destroy the enemy every day, forcing it to pay a heavy price for its aggression against our state.
This was stated in his message.
“Today Ukraine marks the Day of the Land Forces. This is a holiday for those who courageously repel Russian assaults along all sectors of the front and steadfastly hold the lines under enemy shelling and bombardment. ‘For Ukraine! For its freedom!’ Under this motto, the Land Forces soldiers destroy the enemy every day, making it pay a high price for its aggression against our state”, — he wrote.
Denys Shmyhal thanked every defender — male and female — serving in the Land Forces for their conscientious performance of military duty and for their courage.
“Eternal memory to those who returned home on their shield. Glory to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to the Ukrainian Army! Glory to Ukraine!”— he added.
