Ukraine continues to build a system of long-term security guarantees together with its international partners. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this after a regular meeting of the Coalition of the Willing — a format that strengthens Ukraine’s defense capabilities today and defines its security in the future.

Focus — on European deterrence and security guarantees
The main goal of the coalition is to establish deterrence mechanisms that will make further Russian aggression impossible, the President emphasized.
According to him, the United States plays an important role in supporting the creation of effective guarantees.
“We are working to ensure that the security guarantees include serious components of European deterrence and are reliable. No one is interested in a third Russian invasion”, — Volodymyr Zelensky stressed.
Strengthening defence — a prerequisite for diplomacy
The President noted that Russia does not stop its attacks, so partner assistance to Ukraine must grow. Only robust protection will enable diplomacy to achieve a just peace.
“Defense support for Ukraine is especially important now because Russia does not stop its attacks. There must be more protection of life so that diplomacy can work”, — the Head of State emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelensky thanked all the states that have joined the coalition and continue to support Ukraine’s defense.
