President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team held a conversation with the American side, during which they discussed work on a fundamental document aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.
The Head of State reported this on social media.
“Together with the team, we had a productive conversation with the American side — Scott Bessent, Jared Kushner, and Larry Fink”, — the President’s statement reads.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, this was essentially the first meeting of the group that will work on the document concerning Ukraine’s reconstruction and economic recovery.
The parties discussed key issues for Ukraine’s recovery, various mechanisms, and their vision for rebuilding.
“There are many proposals that, with the right approach, can work in Ukraine. We have already prepared the Ukrainian perspective on the basic 20 points of the fundamental document to end the war. Overall security will determine economic security and form the resilience of the business climate”, — the President said.
“We also agreed on further contacts between our teams. As always, there will be no delays on our side. We are working for results”, — the Head of State stated.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked President Donald Trump and his team for their substantive work and support.
