A working meeting with representatives of the French defense industry was held at the Office of the President of Ukraine — a continuation of negotiations that began during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Paris.

The results of the talks were reported by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa.

Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Hvozdiar, Presidential Advisor Oleksandr Kamyshin, as well as representatives of the General Staff and the Air Force also took part in the meeting.

Focus on innovation and joint production

The main emphasis was placed on technologies and joint production. The discussion covered everything that determines the effectiveness of units on the front line in real combat conditions.

The critical capabilities in question include:

  • Strike drones, as well as interceptor drones.
  • High-precision artillery shells.
  • Systems featuring elements of artificial intelligence.

Ukraine offers partners a unique opportunity to jointly produce and improve modern weapons directly under real combat conditions. As noted, partners understand this, and therefore cooperation is deepening.

Work is currently underway to ensure that all the decisions made are transformed as quickly as possible into real resources for Ukrainian brigades.
