During the night of 6 December 2025, as part of efforts to degrade the capabilities of the Russian armed forces, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine carried out a strike on the infrastructure of the Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia’s Ryazan Oblast.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A hit on the target and the destruction of a low-temperature isomerization unit were confirmed.
The extent of the damage is being clarified.
The Ryazan Oil Refinery, with a design capacity of 17.1 million tonnes of oil per year, is among the largest oil refining enterprises in Russia. It produces A-92/95/98/100 gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, and other products. It is involved in supplying the armed forces of the Russian occupiers.
In addition, in order to reduce the enemy’s offensive capabilities, a fire strike was carried out on the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant located in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast — an enterprise that manufactures components (shell bodies) for ammunition under contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defence.
A hit and a fire at the facility were confirmed. The results and extent of the damage are being clarified.
