President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Brussels with President of France Emmanuel Macron, calling the current moment “a time when there is a chance to end the war and stop Russia”.

The Head of State announced this on his social media page.

The leaders coordinated their positions ahead of the meeting of the “coalition of the willing” and discussed further ways to intensify pressure on Russia.

“To stop Russia, we must increase support for Ukraine, maintain sanctions pressure, and complete work on security guarantees”, — emphasized Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Special attention was paid to the consequences of Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

“Strengthening air defense and the resilience of our energy sector is one of the key priorities”, — noted the President.

The two also discussed defense cooperation and specific decisions that could strengthen Ukraine.

“I thank France and personally Emmanuel for their support. We value all assistance provided to protect lives”, — summed up Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
