In September, in the defense sector of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian infantry losses increased by almost 30%.
This is stated in a release by the 7th Corps.
Last month Ukrainian servicemen neutralized 1,851 occupiers. Of these, irrecoverable losses — 1,202; sanitary (wounded) — 649. In August our fighters neutralized 1,456 Russians: 928 — irrecoverable, 528 — sanitary.
In September the defenders of Pokrovsk managed to destroy three tanks, put 41 guns and MLRS out of action, and shot down and “forced to land” 3,248 aerial targets — drones and “kryl” (winged) missiles.
This month, thanks to the introduction of special interceptor drones in the sky over Pokrovsk, enemy “Shaheds” were neutralized 50% more than in August.
The rise in enemy losses is not only the result of unsuccessful attempts by the enemy to attack and capture Pokrovsk, but also of the coordinated actions of the defenders of the agglomeration.
“We are studying the methods and nature of the enemy’s infiltration actions. Based on the analysis, we are blocking attempts by new sabotage groups to penetrate Pokrovsk”, — the statement emphasizes.
Thanks to successful actions by drone crews, it is increasingly possible to strike Russians in their concentration areas and on approaches to our troops’ forward positions. The boundaries of the “kill zones” are gradually expanding as FPV drones are launched dozens of kilometers into the enemy’s rear. Strikes against the enemy in their logistics corridors are intensifying.
If necessary, internal reserves are allocated to carry out the assigned tasks.
In Zvirove, corps units hold positions along the southern outskirts of the built-up area. Cut-off blocking lines have been set up along the routes the enemy uses. Strike-and-search detachments destroy individual groups of Russians that get into the town.
At the same time, the occupiers do not abandon attempts to encircle Pokrovsk. The enemy is increasing pressure to approach and attack Myrnohrad from the north and east. West of Pokrovsk, the enemy has gained additional opportunities to cut one of the logistical routes.
“Units in the 7th Corps sector of the Air Assault Forces are repelling the enemy, acting according to available forces and means. The top priority is preserving the lives of our servicemen”, — the statement says.
