The intentions of Russian occupiers in the Kharkiv region north of the regional center remain unchanged — the Russians aim to capture Lyptsi and then advance on Kharkiv.
This was stated on the air of the Kyiv24 TV channel by the deputy company commander of an operational-purpose battalion of the 13th Operational Brigade “Khartiia” of the National Guard of Ukraine, callsign “Porokh”.
“In our area of responsibility, everything is stable; the situation is difficult. The enemy does not abandon attempts to seize our positions, advance into the settlement of Lyptsi, with the ultimate goal of capturing Kharkiv. This goal remains a priority for them”, — he said.
At the same time, Porokh noted that enemy movements north of Kharkiv have recently become less significant.
“There were some attempts to seize our positions specifically within the area of responsibility of our battalion, but all these attacks were futile, repelled, and the enemy suffered significant losses”, — he reported.
