The grouping of the Russian occupation army in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad direction numbers about 150,000 personnel. This allows the occupiers to conduct assaults around the clock, trying to find gaps in Ukrainian defenses.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy the enemy. In 2025, Russian occupiers suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment.
Fighters of the Asgard Battalion of the 412th Nemesis Unmanned Systems Brigade destroyed Russian Tor and Buk surface-to-air missile systems in the south within one hour.
On the night of December 31, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces successfully struck the Tamanneftegaz terminal in Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation.
On the night of January 1, 2026 (from 6:00 p.m. on December 31, 2025), the enemy launched an attack using 205 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, “Gerbera”, and other types of drones.
