The NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC) participated in the Cyber OPFOR seminar in Vilnius.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The seminar was organized by the Lithuanian National Cyber Security Centre.

The event brought together experts from NATO organizations, Allied member states, Ukraine, partner countries, academia, and the cybersecurity community.

The seminar served as a platform for exchanging experience, analyzing emerging cyber threats, and discussing lessons learned from modern conflicts.

Participants examined how cyber operations affect the contemporary battlefield and exchanged views on strengthening readiness, resilience, and interoperability within the Alliance and in cooperation with Ukraine.

Opening remarks were delivered by JATEC Commander Brigadier General Wojciech Ozga and Rokas Jonikas, Deputy Director of the Lithuanian National Cyber Security Centre.

Both speakers emphasized the growing role of cyber operations as an integral element of modern warfare and highlighted the importance of further developing cooperation between NATO, Ukraine, and partner countries.

The seminar’s key outcome was an agreement to further strengthen cooperation in cyber training and education, particularly through the development of practical resources to support more realistic and operationally relevant training activities.
