The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, stated that there are positive trends on the front line due to the exhaustion of Russian occupation forces.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, in recent months the Defense Forces have demonstrated fairly strong results in containing the enemy, destroying more Russian soldiers than the Russian Federation is able to recruit.
“These recent months have been record-breaking in terms of how our Defense Forces are stopping the enemy on the battlefield. We see a positive trend; we see that we were able to eliminate 35,000 Russians in both April and March. This trend is also quite positive. Russia does not have enough forces to continue offensive operations. The Ukrainian army is exhausting the Russians. The same is happening with deep strikes, because Ukraine has fully seized the initiative in this direction as well,” Mykhailo Fedorov stated.
In addition, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also reported that Germany has allocated the first funds to support drone-assault units.
“In essence, this is the use of a new doctrine of warfare in order to conduct certain offensive operations. This involves the use of drones, assault units, and infantry to achieve specific results. I would also like to express special gratitude for this, because it is about how Ukraine is changing the rules of the game on the battlefield,” the minister noted.
