Offensive actions by the Defense Forces in the Oleksandrivka direction are developing successfully, not allowing the enemy to change the situation in its favor.
This was stated during an ArmyTV stream on March 16 by Serhii Kolesnychenko, an officer of the communications unit of the 148th Separate Artillery Zhytomyr Brigade of the 8th Air Assault Corps.
“The grouping of the Air Assault Forces and other adjacent units continues the counteroffensive operation in the Oleksandrivka direction.
Our units are actively engaging enemy positions, destroying manpower, equipment, and logistics”, — he said.
The occupiers are trying to resist and hold previously captured positions, but without success.
“The enemy is attempting to hold its lines and periodically uses small infantry groups and unmanned systems. However, these actions do not allow them to change the situation in their favor. Our units operate in coordination between artillery, unmanned systems, and infantry, which allows us to gradually improve the tactical situation in the sector”, — the officer assured.
