“Sitting Hungry and Freezing”: Russians Without Supplies or Communication Seek Ways to Surrender
On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian occupiers have neither stable communications nor organized supplies of food and ammunition.
This was reported during an ArmyTV livestream on March 13 by “Tiger”, a company commander of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi.
“They very often surrender on their own without a fight because there is no food, no supplies, nothing.
They come in extremely lightly equipped — with just a couple of magazines, a few packs of ‘Pyatorka’ cigarettes [a cheap Russian brand — ed.], two bottles of water, and a couple of Snickers bars”, — he said.
The occupiers are also practically not provided with any communication equipment.
“They have huge problems with communications. The last groups that slipped into our rear and were captured said there was no communication at all — neither radio nor anything else”, — the serviceman said.
As a result, Russian soldiers themselves look for ways to surrender in order to save their lives.
“They are promised that once they get in we will establish logistics and supply them with everything. But in reality no one provides them with anything, so they sit there hungry and freezing and often even look for someone to surrender to.
We had a case when we captured two prisoners — we were working on them with a drone, and they came out with their hands up, and we guided them out with the drone”, — Tiger said.
