The occupiers are actively adopting the technical innovations and tactical approaches of Ukrainian UAV operators — it takes them only two to three months.

Therefore, when introducing new innovations, Ukrainian specialists simultaneously think through how to counter them in the future.

This was stated during an Army TV stream on March 12 by the acting head of the command post of the 20th Separate K-2 Unmanned Systems Brigade, callsign “Ram”.

“The enemy is now actively starting to shoot down our UAVs, developing their own drone air-defense component. Cases of our drones being shot down have increased.

The enemy copies and tries to improve what they already had, but they also copy our inventions and our tactics of use”, — he said.

According to him, it takes the occupiers two to three months to adopt the inventions of Ukrainian drone operators.

“What we invent — after two or three months it already begins to become ineffective for us.

Meanwhile, the enemy takes our tactics of use and employs them against us”, — the serviceman said.

Taking this into account, Ukrainian drone operators plan and develop technical and tactical countermeasures even before implementing new innovations.

“We must immediately create counteractions for our new tactics so that the enemy does not use them against us”, — Ram explained.
