A fighter with the call sign “Chef” from the “Perun” Battalion of the 42nd Brigade used to run a kitchen in civilian life, and now commands an FPV crew.
The conversation with the fighter was published on March 12 on the channel of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Valerii Hudzi.
“You’re flying, your hands are shaking, adrenaline! And then you see your first enemy and after that you start enjoying the work”, — “Chef” says.
He says the scariest thing is the first deployment to a position, because you don’t know what to expect. Then it becomes easier.
Watch the video to learn about Chef’s path in the military, his first flights and work on the “zero line”.
