Within the framework of the counteroffensive operation in the Oleksandrivka direction, almost the entire territory of Dnipropetrovsk region has been liberated.
This was stated by Major General Oleksandr Komarenko, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, more than 400 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory have already been liberated. On a somewhat smaller area, the rear zone has been cleared of enemy personnel who had infiltrated it.
“Almost the entire territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region has been liberated. Three small settlements remain to be completed and two more need to be cleared.
By the way, thanks to these active actions, in February we have a positive dynamic — more territory has been liberated than lost”, — Oleksandr Komarenko noted.
