Ukraine expects stable military and financial support from the Netherlands amounting to about three billion euros annually.
This was reported by Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
The President thanked the Dutch government for supporting Ukraine and emphasized that the visit of the head of the Dutch government to Kyiv took place almost immediately after the start of the new cabinet’s work.
“We need stable and resilient support every day while the war continues. The Netherlands demonstrates exactly such an example of support that works most effectively”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
According to him, the assistance from the Netherlands has a predictable nature and amounts to about three billion euros each year.
The President also separately noted the participation of the Netherlands in the PURL program, which allows Ukraine to purchase missiles for air defense systems.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed joint weapons production.
“It is important that together with the Netherlands we are producing weapons and will continue and expand this joint work”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
In particular, they discussed investments in production, licenses, and possible volumes of weapons manufacturing.
The President stressed that the Netherlands has supported Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale war — in military, energy, political, and sanctions spheres.
